LogicGlue is operated by Ukufu Pty Ltd (ACN 635 189 874) (LogicGlue, we, us or our).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use, disclose and protect personal information when you use:
These products and services are collectively referred to as the Service.
We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) to the extent they apply to us.
Where other privacy or data-protection laws apply to particular users or processing activities, we will comply with those laws to the extent required.
In this Privacy Policy, personal information has the meaning given under applicable Australian privacy law and generally means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable.
Personal information may be contained within financial, accounting, practice-management or other data processed through LogicGlue.
In this Privacy Policy, Customer Data means information, data or content provided by you to LogicGlue or accessed by LogicGlue from Xero, XPM or another third-party service with your authorisation. Customer Data may include personal information.
Depending on how you interact with LogicGlue, we may collect the following categories of information.
When you create or use a LogicGlue account, we may collect information such as:
If you purchase a LogicGlue subscription, information relating to your subscription and payments may be processed by us and our payment providers.
Payment card information may be collected and processed directly by our payment provider rather than stored by LogicGlue.
When you connect an authorised Xero or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) organisation to LogicGlue, we may access information made available through the applicable authorised APIs.
Depending on your requests and the functionality being used, this may include financial, accounting, transaction, invoice, contact, practice-management, client, staff or other information associated with the connected organisation.
Some of this information may constitute personal information.
LogicGlue only accesses Xero and XPM organisations that have been authorised for connection to the Service.
When you use LogicGlue to submit a query or interact with AI functionality, the information necessary to process your request may be transmitted between LogicGlue, applicable data sources and the AI service used to generate the response.
The handling of queries and AI-generated responses is explained further in section 5.
We may collect personal information when you:
We may collect technical information relating to use of the Service, including:
We may use this information to operate, secure, maintain and improve LogicGlue.
We may collect personal information:
Where we collect personal information through a connected organisation or third-party service, the information available to LogicGlue depends on the permissions and access authorised through that service.
If you provide us with personal information relating to another person, you are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate authority to provide or permit us to process that information.
We may collect, hold, use and disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:
We may also use personal information for another purpose where permitted or required by law.
When you submit a query through LogicGlue, information required to respond to the query may be processed by LogicGlue and an applicable AI provider.
This may include relevant information retrieved from an authorised Xero, XPM or other data source.
LogicGlue seeks to limit information transmitted to third-party services to information reasonably required to provide the requested functionality.
LogicGlue does not routinely store your queries or AI-generated responses as conversation history unless a feature you choose to use, such as bookmarking a query, expressly requires or provides for such storage.
This is separate from the caching of data retrieved from Xero or XPM, which is described in section 7.
LogicGlue does not use Customer Data, your AI questions or AI-generated responses to train AI models.
We use third-party AI services under arrangements designed so that Customer Data processed through LogicGlue is not used to train their general-purpose AI models.
Information processed by an external AI provider is also subject to the provider's applicable privacy, security and data-processing arrangements.
We assess third-party providers used by LogicGlue and take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the information and processing involved.
LogicGlue may integrate with third-party services, including AI platforms and financial or business software.
These may include services provided by organisations such as:
When you use an integration, information reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality may be transmitted to the relevant provider.
Some integrations are optional and only operate when you choose to enable or use them.
Third-party services are provided and operated independently of LogicGlue and may have their own privacy policies and terms.
LogicGlue may provide optional caching functionality.
When caching is enabled, LogicGlue may securely store encrypted copies of selected data previously retrieved from Xero or XPM in connection with LogicGlue queries.
Caching allows LogicGlue to reuse recently retrieved data rather than repeatedly requesting the same information from Xero or XPM.
The cache relates to data retrieved from Xero or XPM.
Caching of Xero/XPM data is separate from the storage of your questions and AI-generated responses.
Cached information may not reflect recent changes made in Xero or XPM.
Where current information is important, users can disable caching so that relevant data is retrieved directly from the applicable connected service.
You may disable caching using the controls available within LogicGlue.
When caching is disabled, data previously stored in the LogicGlue cache will be deleted unless that cached data remains in use by another LogicGlue user who is authorised to access the same Xero organisation and has caching enabled.
If cached data remains in use by another authorised user, it will be retained for so long as it is required to provide caching functionality to that user.
Once you disable caching, LogicGlue will no longer use cached data for your requests and will retrieve relevant data directly from the applicable connected service when required.
LogicGlue's access to connected Xero and XPM organisations is read-only by default unless you expressly enable functionality that permits data to be changed.
If you enable Write Access, information may be processed as necessary to carry out actions that you request or authorise.
Depending on the available functionality, this may include creating, updating or deleting information within an authorised Xero or XPM organisation.
Where you request a Write Access action through a supported third-party integration, information necessary to understand, process and carry out that instruction may be transmitted between the applicable integration, LogicGlue and Xero or XPM.
You may disable Write Access using the controls available within LogicGlue.
Disabling Write Access prevents subsequent Write Access requests but does not reverse changes that have already been made to Xero or XPM.
LogicGlue does not routinely disclose personal information to third parties. Where disclosure is necessary to provide, operate or protect the Service, we seek to limit the information disclosed to the minimum reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
We may disclose limited personal information to service providers or third parties where reasonably necessary, including:
Where practicable, we limit third-party access to the information and functionality required for the specific service being provided.
We may also disclose personal information where required or authorised by law, including in response to a lawful court order, regulatory requirement or law-enforcement request. In such circumstances, we will seek to limit any disclosure to the information legally required or authorised to be disclosed.
If LogicGlue or substantially all of its relevant business or assets is acquired, reorganised or transferred, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable privacy law.
We do not sell or rent personal information or Customer Data to third parties.
Access by LogicGlue personnel to Customer Data is restricted.
Authorised personnel may access Customer Data only where reasonably necessary to:
Access is not intended to occur as part of routine viewing of customer financial information.
We apply technical and organisational controls designed to restrict access to personnel who require it for an authorised purpose.
We may use contact information to communicate with you about LogicGlue, including product updates, features, services and other information that may be relevant to you, where permitted by applicable law.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the communication or by contacting us.
Service, security, billing and other transactional communications may still be sent where necessary to administer your account or provide the Service.
LogicGlue uses technology and service providers that may process or store personal information outside Australia.
Depending on the services and functionality you use, personal information may be processed or stored in:
We may also use service providers whose infrastructure processes information in other jurisdictions from time to time. Where required by applicable Australian privacy law, we take reasonable steps in relation to the handling of personal information by overseas recipients.
Privacy and data-protection laws in other countries may differ from those in Australia.
The use of overseas service providers does not reduce our obligation to handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy law.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information and Customer Data from misuse, interference and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Depending on the nature of the information and system involved, these measures may include:
No internet-connected service or method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If we become aware of an eligible data breach, we will assess and respond to it in accordance with applicable law, including the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme where applicable.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is held or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
Different categories of information may have different retention periods depending on their purpose and applicable legal, security, accounting or operational requirements.
Cached Xero/XPM data is handled as described in section 7.
You may request deletion of your LogicGlue account.
Following a valid account-deletion request, we will delete your LogicGlue account and associated data within 14 days, subject to information that we are required or permitted to retain for legal, regulatory, security, billing, fraud-prevention or audit purposes.
Where information must be retained, we will retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.
Deleting your LogicGlue account does not delete or modify data held within Xero, XPM or another connected third-party service.
You may also disconnect supported integrations independently of deleting your LogicGlue account.

We do not track or analyse the content of your AI questions or AI-generated responses. We also do not use product analytics to build detailed behavioural profiles of our users.
You may request access to personal information that we hold about you.
We will respond to access requests in accordance with applicable law.
In some circumstances, the Privacy Act or another law may permit or require us to refuse access to some information. Where required, we will explain the reason for the refusal and available complaint mechanisms.
You may ask us to correct personal information that you believe is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.
We will take reasonable steps to correct personal information where required under applicable law.
Where we refuse a correction request, we will provide the information required by applicable law regarding the refusal and available complaint mechanisms.
If you have a question or complaint concerning our handling of personal information, please contact us using the details in section 22.
Please provide sufficient information for us to understand and investigate your concern.
We will review privacy complaints and respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) or another applicable privacy regulator.
Where the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR or related data-protection laws apply to our processing of your personal data, you may have additional rights under those laws.
Depending on the circumstances, these may include rights to:

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children for the purpose of creating or operating LogicGlue accounts.
