email: ' LogicGlue is a simple AI assistant for Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM). It connects securely to your Xero and/or XPM data, allowing you to ask questions in plain English (or 100+ other languages supported by ChatGPT) and receive instant answers, insights, reports and analysis. You can use LogicGlue through the LogicGlue web or mobile app, or via the LogicGlue Claude Connector, which enables Claude (web or mobile) to securely access your Xero and/or XPM data. LogicGlue is purpose-built for Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM), making it simple to get AI-powered insights from your financial and practice management data. Unlike a general-purpose AI assistant, LogicGlue understands the structure of Xero and XPM, making it easier to ask business and accounting questions without needing to explain your data. ChatGPT and Claude are powerful AI assistants, but on their own by default, they do not have integrated and secure access to your Xero or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data. LogicGlue securely connects your Xero and/or XPM data to AI, allowing you to ask questions in plain English (or over 100+ languages that ChatGPT supports) and receive answers, insights, reports and analysis based on your own business information. LogicGlue also includes features specifically designed for Xero and XPM users, including secure authentication, optional encrypted caching for improved performance, Xero-certified integration, and the LogicGlue Claude Connector, which enables Claude to securely access your Xero and XPM data. No. If you can ask a question in plain English, you can use LogicGlue. No prompt engineering or AI experience is required. Note: LogicGlue supports more than 100 languages. Yes. You can use LogicGlue through our web application on your mobile, or via our mobile apps for Android and iPhone and iPad (iOS), allowing you to access your Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data wherever you are. The LogicGlue Claude Connector allows Claude to securely access your authorised Xero and/or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data through LogicGlue, enabling you to ask questions in Claude and receive answers, insights, reports and analysis based on your business data. First, connect your Xero and/or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) organisation to LogicGlue. Then add the LogicGlue Claude Connector to your Claude account. When you ask Claude a question about your business, the LogicGlue Claude Connector securely retrieves the relevant information from your authorised Xero and/or XPM organisation using the official Xero APIs, allowing Claude to generate answers, insights, reports and analysis based on your data. This allows Claude to securely access your authorised Xero and/or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data through LogicGlue. Yes, a paid Claude subscription plan is required to use the LogicGlue Claude Connector. LogicGlue and Claude subscriptions are billed separately. The LogicGlue app and the LogicGlue Claude Connector provide two different ways to access your Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data. You may prefer Claude if you already use it as part of your daily workflow or want to combine your Xero or XPM data with Claude's broader writing, analysis and document-creation capabilities. Features available specifically through Claude include: Features available specifically through the LogicGlue app include: Yes. The LogicGlue Claude Connector can be used with Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM). You can connect either platform individually, or connect both through LogicGlue. Currently, each query applies to either your Xero data or your XPM data. A single query cannot access both data sources simultaneously. You can ask Claude a wide range of questions about your authorised Xero or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data. For example, you can ask Claude to: Yes. Claude can use insights retrieved through the LogicGlue Claude Connector alongside other information that you provide during your conversation. For example, you could ask Claude to use your financial results when drafting a management report, preparing a presentation, explaining a trend or comparing performance against information you provide. Your Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data is accessed securely through LogicGlue using the official Xero APIs. Claude never receives your Xero password. You authorise access using Xero's secure authentication process, and LogicGlue can only access the Xero and/or XPM organisations that you have explicitly authorised. By default, LogicGlue provides read-only access, meaning Claude cannot create, update or delete data in your Xero or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) organisation. If you choose to enable LogicGlue's optional Write Access feature, Claude can create, update and delete data in your authorised Xero and/or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) organisation. Write Access can be enabled or disabled at any time from within LogicGlue. The LogicGlue Claude Connector uses the same settings that you have configured in your LogicGlue account. This ensures a consistent experience whether you are using the LogicGlue app or Claude. Yes. Once you've connected the LogicGlue Claude Connector to your Claude account, you can use it with Claude on both the web and mobile apps. Please note that Claude currently requires all connectors, including the LogicGlue Claude Connector, to be configured using the Claude web interface. Once the initial setup is complete, the connector can be used from both the Claude web and mobile apps. Yes. You can disconnect or remove the LogicGlue Claude Connector at any time. Once disconnected, Claude will no longer be able to access your Xero or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data through LogicGlue. LogicGlue provides instant answers, insights, reports and analysis based on your Xero and/or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data. Ask questions in plain English through the LogicGlue app or Claude (via the LogicGlue Claude Connector). Browse the LogicGlue Forum to see more examples and use cases. Yes. In addition to your authorised Xero and/or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data, LogicGlue can access selected external information sources to provide more useful answers. For example, you can compare your business performance with ABS industry data, ask questions about current publicly available information, or request financial values to be converted between currencies. Workflow bottlenecks This quickly highlights delivery risks, resourcing gaps and operational bottlenecks. Yes. LogicGlue supports natural, conversational interactions, so you can ask follow-up questions to explore a topic in more detail or refine a previous answer. For example, after asking for a profit and loss report, you could ask "Why did expenses increase?" or "Compare this with the same period last year." LogicGlue is designed with privacy in mind. By default, it does not save your previous conversations, so your questions and the AI's responses are not retained after your session. This reduces the amount of information stored and helps protect your business data. Yes. Like all AI tools, LogicGlue can occasionally make mistakes or misunderstand a question. We recommend reviewing important financial information before making business decisions. If a response does not look right, try rephrasing your question or asking for more detail. Like all AI tools, LogicGlue may occasionally be unable to answer a question or may misunderstand what you are asking. If this happens, try rephrasing your question, breaking it into smaller parts, or providing a little more context. If you continue to experience problems, please contact our support team and we'll be happy to help. Yes. Once disconnected, LogicGlue can no longer access your Xero or XPM organisation. No. LogicGlue is a separate application to Xero/XPM. You use LogicGlue via a separate browser window to Xero/XPM. Once you connect LogicGlue to your Xero account, you can use the Xero App Launcher from within Xero to launch LogicGlue. Yes. LogicGlue maps Xero user account restrictions. A LogicGlue user will not be able to access Xero data via LogicGlue, that the user is prevented from accessing via Xero. For example, if a Xero user is restricted from accessing Payroll in Xero, this user will not be able to retrieve any Payroll information via LogicGlue, after connecting their LogicGlue account with Xero. No, at this stage, LogicGlue only works with Xero. Once you have set up and logged in to your LogicGlue account, you are prompted to connect your Xero account. You will need to log in to your Xero account as normal. Once connected, you will be able to use LogicGlue with your Xero account, until you disconnect your Xero account. LogicGlue: navigate to "Settings" and then "Integrations", select disconnect your Xero account. Xero: At any stage you can check which third-party apps are connected to your Xero account:
In Xero, navigate to Settings > Connected Apps, to view connected apps. You can disconnect any app as required from within Xero.
LogicGlue has successfully completed Xero's app certification process, which verifies that it meets Xero's requirements for security, reliability and integration with the Xero platform. As part of certification, LogicGlue is assessed against Xero's technical and security standards, and must comply with Xero's requirements for apps available in the Xero App Store. LogicGlue also undergoes annual reviews by Xero to maintain its certification and continued compliance with the DSPANZ Security Standard for Add-on Marketplaces. For our customers, this means you can be confident that LogicGlue has been independently reviewed by Xero and meets the standards required of trusted Xero integrations. After you connect your Xero and/or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) account, LogicGlue securely accesses your data only when needed to answer your queries. LogicGlue does not continuously access or monitor your Xero/XPM account. By default, LogicGlue does not store a copy of your Xero/XPM data, your queries, or the AI responses generated from your queries. If you enable optional caching features, LogicGlue stores encrypted copies of selected data retrieved from Xero/XPM to improve performance. By default, LogicGlue does not store your queries or AI responses. Caching can be disabled at any time. You can disconnect LogicGlue from Xero/XPM at any time. Once disconnected, LogicGlue no longer has access to your Xero/XPM data. Security and privacy are core to LogicGlue. We securely access your Xero and/or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data only when needed to answer your queries, and use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. LogicGlue uses the official APIs provided by Xero, OpenAI and Stripe (for billing), and complies with Xero's security and API requirements. By default, LogicGlue does not store your queries or AI responses. By default, LogicGlue also does not store a copy of your Xero/XPM data unless you choose to enable optional caching features. LogicGlue has been certified by Xero and complies with all of Xero's security-related standards, ensuring a secure and trusted integration. Xero audits LogicGlue annually for compliance with the DSPANZ Security Standard for Add-on Marketplaces. No. LogicGlue never sees or stores your Xero password. You authenticate directly with Xero using Xero's secure OAuth authorisation process. LogicGlue only receives the access tokens required to securely access your data via the official Xero API. No, by default your questions and LogicGlue's responses are not stored.
Your query is processed securely so LogicGlue can generate an answer, but by default neither your question nor the AI's response is retained after the request is completed.
The only exception is if you explicitly choose to use the "Saved Queries" feature. LogicGlue is designed with security and privacy as core principles. Your Xero data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Access to customer data is tightly restricted and only permitted when required to operate the service, investigate technical issues, provide customer support at your request, or respond to legitimate security incidents. A very small number of authorised senior technical personnel have the ability to access customer data when necessary to perform these duties. Such access is not routine, is limited to what is required, and is governed by strict internal policies and security controls. Your Xero data and your AI conversations are treated separately. By default, LogicGlue does not store your AI questions or AI responses. Every AI interaction starts fresh, and your prompts and AI-generated answers are not retained by LogicGlue. We believe customer financial data should be treated with the highest level of care and only accessed when there is a legitimate operational or support requirement. In short: While a very small number of authorised senior technical staff can access customer data when genuinely required to operate or support the service, such access is tightly controlled, is not part of normal operation, and your AI questions and responses are not stored by LogicGlue. No. By default, LogicGlue does not store or replicate any part of your Xero data. If you enable optional caching, selected encrypted Xero/XPM data may be stored to improve performance. LogicGlue only accesses your Xero data, via the Xero API on a strictly as needed basis. LogicGlue does not store your chat query or your query response. When you close the LogicGlue application, all data in your LogicGlue chat window is permanently deleted. No. LogicGlue, Xero and OpenAI do not use your data to train AI models. LogicGlue uses the OpenAI API, and data submitted through the API is not used by OpenAI to train its AI models. For more information, see OpenAI's Enterprise Privacy. No. By default, LogicGlue has read-only access and cannot make changes to your Xero/Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data. If you choose to enable the optional Write Access feature, you can use LogicGlue to create, update and delete data in Xero/XPM. Write Access is disabled by default and can be turned on or off at any time. No. LogicGlue does not use your data or metadata for advertising purposes. Yes. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled by default on all accounts to provide an additional layer of security. If you prefer, you can disable it at any time from your account settings. LogicGlue collects a limited amount of usage information required to operate, secure and improve the service. We record account sign-ups, plan upgrades and cancellations, and when a user starts a query session. We do not track the content of your AI questions or AI responses. We also do not build detailed behavioural profiles of our users. Like most online services, LogicGlue records standard technical information such as timestamps, IP addresses, browser and device details. We believe in collecting only the information necessary to operate LogicGlue, while respecting your privacy. If you request deletion of your LogicGlue account, your LogicGlue account and associated data--including saved queries and any cached Xero/XPM data--will be permanently deleted within 14 days. Deleting your LogicGlue account does not delete or modify any data stored in your Xero or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) organisation. LogicGlue may retain limited information where required for legal, regulatory or security purposes, such as billing records or audit logs. Any retained information is kept only for as long as necessary to meet those obligations. Please email us at [email protected] with any questions. A Large Language Model (LLM) is a powerful AI system designed to understand and generate human-like text. A LLM is like a supercharged autocomplete that has been trained on vast amounts of text from books, websites, and other sources. LLMs don't "think" like humans. They don't truly understand meaning - they just predict what words should come next based on patterns they've seen before. LogicGlue uses the OpenAI platform as provider of our underlying LLM technology. OpenAI is the technology that powers ChatGPT. LLMs (and LogicGlue) operate differently from most computing that we are accustomed to, eg Excel. Regular computing tends to be "deterministic", that is, the same inputs always result in the same outcome. LLMs are "non deterministic" systems. Non deterministic systems can produce different output despite receiving the same the inputs. This non deterministic behaviour is a result of the complex "neural network" nature of LLMs, as well as the huge amount of data used to train LLMs. Results can be improved in LogicGlue by crafting specific prompts. For example, instead of the prompt, "Please list my staff members.", you could submit the prompt, "Please list my staff members, in the format of first name, surname, staff department. Please exclude terminated or inactive staff." Note: Our team has spent significant effort ensuring LogicGlue makes minimal errors, but always double check your answers and mistakes can still happen with all AI systems. LogicGlue uses the latest version of OpenAI(ChatGPT)'s LLM. No, you don't need a ChatGPT account (free or paid) to use LogicGlue. Coming soon! At this stage, you can't link an existing ChatGPT account with LogicGlue. Yes. If you already have a Claude account, you can connect it to LogicGlue using the LogicGlue Claude Connector. This allows Claude to securely access your Xero and/or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data through LogicGlue. The LogicGlue cache is an opt-in feature that securely stores encrypted Xero and/or Xero Practice Manager (XPM) data retrieved during your previous LogicGlue queries. It stores the Xero/XPM data only--not your questions or the AI's responses--and allows LogicGlue to reuse that data instead of requesting it from Xero again. The cache stores only Xero/XPM data. It does not store your questions or the AI's responses. Enabling the cache can improve query response times and reduce the number of API requests made to Xero, particularly for similar or repeated queries. Depending on the type of data, changes in Xero/XPM may take between 1 and 24 hours to become available in LogicGlue. Example: If you create an invoice in Xero (for example, TEST5555) and immediately ask LogicGlue for details about the invoice, the relevant invoice details may not be found until the cache updates. If you need the latest information, simply disable the cache to retrieve fresh data directly from Xero/XPM. You can enable or disable caching at any time within LogicGlue. There is currently no LogicGlue API available for general use. To use LogicGlue, you require a paid subscription. More information can be found on our pricing page. Yes, you can trial LogicGlue for free for 7 days. Yes. A credit card is required for the trial. However if you cancel any time before the trial expires, you won't be charged anything. We use Stripe to manage our payments and subscriptions. Stripe is one of the world's largest online payment infrastructure companies. Paid subscriptions are charged monthly. You can cancel your subscription at any time. We do not offer any refunds. Please contact our team if you have any questions regarding your payments. You can cancel your LogicGlue paid account at any stage from within the LogicGlue app. You can also email our team for assistance. No. Payment for LogicGlue is separate to your Xero charges.
